Aman — Child Care

Ask any adult about the moments that shaped them, and memory will pull them back to childhood. Who cared for them. Who listened. Who made them feel seen. Those moments don't happen by accident — they happen when someone showed up for a child at the right time. Aman is that "someone." We work with children whose circumstances require outside support — whether because of the loss of a parent, an unsafe home environment, or health and psychological challenges their families cannot navigate alone. What we provide: A safe environment — immediate intervention for children in dangerous situations, coordinated with the relevant authorities, with legal and social follow-through until the case is stable Family support — when a family is capable of keeping a child but needs help to do so, we provide counseling, resources, and rehabilitation plans rather than separation Alternative care — for children without a family to care for them, we work with accredited care homes to ensure a dignified environment, with individualized development plans for each child Mental health care — a team of child-trained psychologists providing free sessions in settings where children feel safe The right to play — community centers in underserved neighborhoods, open daily for children to play, read, learn, and simply be children Preventive awareness — workshops for parents and teachers on child protection, positive parenting, and the early signs that call for attention The numbers tell us that Aman has reached thousands of children since it launched. But what the numbers don't tell you is that behind every file is a child who learned to laugh again, a family that learned to heal, and a future whose direction changed before it went off course. We don't believe children are "cases" to be processed. We believe they are people to be walked alongside — until they cross to safer ground. And then they go on.
