Child ProtectionAman — Child Care
Protection today, confidence tomorrow

Every child deserves a safe childhood
Childhood is not a phase we pass through. It's the foundation everything else is built on. Bara'im exists to make sure every child in the Kingdom gets that foundation the way it's meant to be: safe, healthy, full of possibility. We approach child welfare holistically — not just responding when things go wrong, but working upstream through prevention, ongoing support, and empowerment. The program serves children from birth through age eighteen, with particular focus on the most vulnerable: children from low-income families, orphans, children with disabilities, and children in at-risk situations. Core pillars of the program: Protection and response — a 24/7 hotline for reports of abuse and neglect, with a specialized rapid-intervention team that coordinates with relevant government authorities Early childhood development — supporting parents through the critical first years with positive parenting workshops, growth monitoring, and essential supplies for infants and toddlers Psychological support — individual and group therapy sessions led by qualified specialists for children who have experienced trauma or psychological distress, delivered in safe, age-appropriate settings Access to education — covering tuition, books, uniforms, and transportation for children at risk of dropping out due to economic hardship Healthcare — regular check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment for chronic conditions for children without adequate health coverage Activities and recreation — because play is a right, we run summer camps, day trips, and sports and cultural programs for children in underserved areas Bara'im works in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, as well as social workers and psychologists embedded in hospitals and schools. Every intervention begins with a careful assessment of the child's situation and family context, and all decisions are made according to the child's best interests — aligned with international standards and the regulations of the Kingdom. In our most recent year, Bara'im supported more than 3,200 children across its different pillars. But behind every number is a childhood protected, a family steadied, and a future whose doors were reopened. Children don't choose the circumstances they're born into. But we can choose not to leave them alone in those circumstances.
