Kafala — Orphan Sponsorship

Losing a parent reshapes a child's entire world. Kafala exists to make sure it doesn't define their future. Our sponsorship program connects donors with orphaned children across Saudi Arabia for long-term monthly support — but Kafala is built on a simple principle: money alone is not enough. Every sponsored child receives a complete support package that follows them from childhood into adulthood. What sponsorship covers: Monthly financial support for the child's guardian — covering food, clothing, and daily needs Full school expenses — tuition, uniforms, books, and transportation Healthcare coverage — regular check-ups, dental care, and treatment for any medical needs Academic mentoring — each child is paired with a tutor who follows their progress term by term Psychosocial support — monthly sessions with qualified counselors, because grief doesn't follow a timeline Life skills training — for children 12 and up, covering everything from personal finance to career planning Sponsors receive quarterly reports with photos, academic updates, and personal letters from the child (when age-appropriate). Many of our sponsors form relationships that span years — and some have even funded university education for children who outgrew the basic program. Kafala is currently supporting over 800 children. We follow strict Islamic principles of kafala throughout, and all sponsorships comply with Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development regulations.
